North Star Job Club Celebrates One Year of Remarkable Achievements

On September 14th, The North Star Job Club offered through Directions for Immigrants reached a significant milestone, marking one year of its journey. This achievement was celebrated with a heartwarming event, 'Let's Celebrate Our Stars’, where accomplishments, dedication, and success stories of our clients were the highlight of the evening.

During the event, five of our job club members shared their inspiring success stories:

Vishak Jayaraman - Network Inventory and Deployment Planner at Farmer's Business Network, Inc.

Buena Emily Galleposo - Paralegal at Alberta Seniors, Community, and Social Services.

Elizabeth Willars - Front Office Manager at Desjardins.

Mario Octavio Leon y Leon Castaneda - Financial Advisor at Scotia Bank.

Grissel Aguilar - Program Liaison for Settlement Services at Calgary Immigrant Women’s Associations.
